Things I learned about epoxy an 2k primers IMO Epoxy primer is your barrier from what's underneath it, an its your main protection for what's on top of it.. Hi folks, i called my local paint suppliers to order some epoxy primer for respraying my rav4.
My idea was to use this then alow to dry for a couple days, then. 2k IMO is just for blocking Next car I paint I won't use 2k primer, just epoxy.. They sent me jotun 2k marine epoxy primer with epoxy thinner The paint is designed for marine use and is apparantly very resistant to water etc.
